As summer approaches at GGS, we are excited to welcome Lisa and Louis to the team. Lisa joined GGS as an Admin Accounts Assistant and Louis is our new Marketing Executive.
We sat down with Lisa and Louis, so keep reading on to learn more about them!
The journey to GGS
Before they came to GGS, both Lisa and Louis had some really interesting careers, and we’re looking forward to seeing how they apply their skills to the world of ground gas monitoring and consultancy.
Lisa’s career before GGS
Before getting started at GGS, Lisa worked for herself for 20 years, working from home. With many years of success, her family business provides electricians and contractors to the Greater Manchester and Stockport area. Years before this, Lisa also worked as a PA.
Lisa helped run her family business whilst raising her two children, and found the flexibility great. Although her business still has a couple of vans on the road, Lisa will be taking a step back to focus on her new opportunity at GGS.
What is Lisa’s new role?
Lisa is our new Admin Accounts Assistant, working with Helen, our office Manager. Lisa told us…
‘GGS offers great employee support and flexibility and I was looking for a new challenge. It’s a super friendly atmosphere and I’m looking forward to meeting new people in the office.’
Louis’ career before GGS
Most recently Louis has worked in an agency setting with a variety of clients across a range of industries. Before this, Louis was freelance with his own client base.
When it comes to marketing, Louis approaches marketing like any other good storytelling tool – by injecting lots of creativity.
What is Louis’ new role?
Louis is our new Marketing Executive at GGS, covering maternity leave for our Marketing Manager. Louis told us…
‘I’m really hoping to bring my marketing skills and creativity into the role. It’s a welcome challenge, getting to grips with a new industry and thinking about how I can share the great work of GGS.’
We also found out that Lisa and Louis share something else in common and it’s not just working at GGS. Both Lisa and Louis have a dog.
Although we won’t be sending their canine pals out on site anytime soon, we might occasionally spot some new dogs in the GGS office.
Lisa’s dog Eddie (left) is a labradoodle and Louis dog, Betsy (right) is a chihuahua border terrier mix.
A quick hello from Lisa and Louis
Our new recruits wanted to just say a quick hello, when we caught up with them at GGS HQ. In the below video you can get to know both Lisa and Louis a little better.
We are really happy to have Lisa and Louis on board, and we can’t wait to meet their dogs in the office too!
Both of them will be an integral part of the GGS journey in the next year, helping to support our clients, keep them informed, and raise standards within ground gas monitoring.
